Import: MXF Import QT can read Avid MXF files. However unlike Final Cut Pro Avid systems can not interface directly
with MXF Import QT as they use their own internal MXF interpreters. MXF Import QT allows the creation of QuickTime reference movies from MXF files which can then be imported into Avid. Avid users on Mac OS X also benefit from MXF icon previews and direct file access.
