MXF Info Analyzer

Hours and hours of video footage are being created and archived every day. Choosing the open and manufacturer independent MXF standard is the best strategy for valuable content to keep control. The analyzer was originally developed for internal use only and allows us in combination with our own MXF core libraries to support more and more MXF variations and to validate MXF files for customers and partners.

A license of MXF Import QT is bundled with MXF Info to provide preview and export support for compatible MXF files directly in the analyzer. MXF Info will also run without the preview mode enabled.

MXF Metadata Analyzing

MXF Info is the only MXF file analyzer available for Mac OS X. The analyzer takes advantage of the fully documented and open MXF format and provides full control over MXF creation processes for the content owner. MXF creators can not hide secrets or errors, the analyzer shows all KLVs within a MXF file including MPEG, DV and AES3 header data.

Essence Analyzing

MXF Info is able to analyze all MPEG, DV and AES3 essence header metadata within MXF files. This allows precise analysis of MXF essence metadata in relation to the actual essence data.

Movie Player

A video player is included in MXF Info to allow a preview of MXF clips that are supported by the bundled MXF Import QT component. Supported MXF clips can be also exported to QuickTime and transcoded to other formats.

Error Log

The Error Log summarizes warnings and errors that were found in MXF files. The error log information can be copied and pasted into text documents or e-mails for further editing and sharing.
